Abstract
Dieulafory's disease is often unrecognized cause of massive upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage by rupture of abnormally enlarged tortuous submcosal artery in stomach.
The diagnosis is often made by repeated endoscopy, operation or autopsy incidentally. The lesion may bleed intermittently and that makes it very diffcult to diagnose but, it can be managed by angiographic embolization, endoscopic local
injection
of Hypertonic saline epinephrine, electrocoagulation or local resection.
We report a patient of dieulafoy's disease, in a 66-year-old man with hematemesis and who was treated by operation because of rebleeding after arterial embolization.
